Describe:
We are currently seeking both young and experienced scholars to join our prominent research team. Relatively inexperienced researchers may start as research assistants. He/she will conduct research on one(several) of the center’s focused fields including ◆medical reform ◆education reform ◆climate change ◆environmental administration◆infrastructure and urban development ◆public health and◆government regulation. The individual would be expected to perform related policy-relevant work, including writing, advising, and interacting with other scholars as well as with the wider policy community. Research assistant will also undertake programming simulation, statistical assistance and other support for designated scholar(s). Candidates are provided with the chance to be seconded to the Chinese government, and the chance to be recommended to top universities/the CASS (Chinese Academy of Social Science)/ the NDRC (National Development and Reform Commission). This job is very flexible; researchers could work as full-time employee or on a part-time basis either in China or from the U.S. // Applicants should hold a Ph.D or an equivalent degree in economics or a relevant field, with a proven record of publishing. RESEARCH EXPERIENCE ON ENERGY ECONOMICS OR HEALTH ECONOMICS is PREFERRED. Expertise related to the center’s major research fields such as environmental economics and education economics is preferred.
