Liaoning University (LNU) is a national “Project 211” and “Double First-Class” university with a distinguished heritage in economic studies. Its origins trace back to the Northeast Business College, the first specialized business college founded by the Communist Party of China in 1948.
Today, LNU is a powerhouse for economic research and education. Its Applied Economics program has been selected as a world-class discipline, and the university hosts National Key Disciplines in World Economy, National Economics, and Finance. The university offers full PhD and post-doctoral research programs in both Theoretical and Applied Economics.
