The Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy (CCAP), established in December 1995, is dedicated to high quality both strategic and applied research on China's agriculture and rural economy. CCAP, by design, is committed to collaborating closely with policy makers, domestic colleagues, and international researchers working on food, agricultural, natural resource and environmental issues in China. In its short history, the Center has already demonstrated that it can play a unique role in creating networks among individuals and groups both within and outside of China to increase the effectiveness of economic policy analysis in China. The Center is housed at the Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research and it has the full support and sponsorship of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
