Call for papers for CES sessions at the ASSA 2019 conference
The Chinese Economists Society invites submissions for three CES sessions at 2019 ASSA. The 2019 ASSA meetings will be held in Atlanta, GA, on January 4-6, 2019. Please email your submissions to Dr. Zhuo Chen, University of Georgia and University of Nottingham, Ningbo China (zchen1@uga.edu) and Dr. Carl Lin, Bucknell University (carl.lin@bucknell.edu), the CES Program co-Chairs for the ASSA 2019 conference. The submission deadline is May 25, 2018, and the acceptance will be announced by June 30, 2018.
Both individual paper submissions and session proposals are welcome although session proposals will be preferred. All submissions should include an abstract of the paper and the CV, or its web link, of the corresponding author. Session proposals should have a unifying theme, and should include a title for the session and the email contact of the chair/organizer, in addition to abstracts, author and discussant information for all papers of the proposed session.
Submission of papers or proposals requires active CES membership for at least one author of each paper.
Presenters must provide their papers to the session chair and discussants no later than December 1, 2018. All session participants must register for the 2019 ASSA annual conference.
We welcome papers and sessions in all fields while a priority may be given to papers that are related to the Chinese economy and connect to a current issue in the economics literature.
