Dear CES Members and Friends:
As the President of the Chinese Economists Society (CES) for 2016-2017, first please let me congratulate Dr. Wing Thye Woo and his Board of Directors for a successful term with many accomplishments. In the meantime, I warmly welcome our new leadership team to take office as of September 1, 2016.
The new leadership team would like to continue the flagship CES programs such as the 2017 North America conference to be held at the University of Alabama, the 2017 CES China Annual conference at Nanjing University and President Forum at Nanjing Audit University, both in Nanjing, 2017 CES/AEA joint sessions and CES Reception/Business Meeting at the ASSA conference in Chicago, Gregory-Paula Chow Teaching Fellowship, and Gregory-Paula Chow Best Paper Awards. Below please find a list of our proposed events and activities in details; please mark these dates on your calendar!
- CES/AEA 2017 joint sessions and CES Reception/Business Meeting at the ASSA conference in Chicago, USA, January, 6-8, 2017 (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday). (CES Role: Organizer).
- CES 2017 North-America conference at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, USA, March 10-11, 2017 (Friday and Saturday). (CES Role: Organizer)
- CES 2017 China Annual Conference at Nanjing University in Nanjing, China, June 10-11 (Saturday and Sunday). (CES Role: Organizer).
- CES 2016-2017 President Forum at Nanjing Audit University in Nanjing, China, TBD. (CES Role: Organizer).
