Call for papers at the ASSA 2016 conference

The Chinese Economists society invites proposals for three CES sessions at 2016 ASSA. The 2016 ASSA meetings will be held in San Francisco, CA, on January 3-5, 2016.  Please email your submissions to Dr. Jian Yang at University of Colorado Denver (jian.yang@ucdenver.edu), the CES Program Chair for the ASSA 2016 conference. The submission deadline is May 24, 2015, and the acceptance will be announced by July 31, 2015.

Both individual paper submissions and session proposals are welcome. All submissions should include an abstract of the paper and the CV, or its web link, of the corresponding author. Session proposals should have a unifying theme, and should include a title for the session and the email contact of the chair/organizer, in addition to abstracts, author and discussant information for all papers of the proposed session.

Submission of papers or proposals requires active CES membership for at least one author of each paper.

Paper presenters must provide their papers to the session chair and discussants no later than December 1, 2015. All session participants must register for the ASSA annual conference.

Finally, papers should relate in some way to the Chinese economy and connect to a current issue in the economics literature.  Sessions with cohesive theme are preferred.
