The Chinese Economists Society is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Gregory Chow Best Paper Awards:
(1) Xiaobo Zhang (International Food Policy Research Institute, USA) “The Sex Foundation of Economic Growth: Evidence from China,” joint with Shang-jin Wei;
(2) Weng Xi (University of Pennsylvania, USA) “Assortative Learning,” joint with Jan Eeckhout.
The awards ceremony was held on June 20, 2010 at the CES Annual Conference in Xiamen, China.
