The CES 2007 annual conference was hold in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, from July 28 to 29, 2007. Professors Kenneth J. Arrow of Stanford University, James Mirrlees of Cambridge University, Gregory Chow of Princeton University, and Paul T. Schultz of Yale University gave keynote speeches on health care, economic growth, health economics, and human capital respectively. The Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr. Yong Shang, gave a talk on “Innovation, Collaboration and Globalization” at the opening of conference.
There is a total of 40 sessions and panels with more than 160 presentations at the conference. More than 400 scholars and students participated in the conference.
