The School of Business Administration at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics invites applicants to fill in multiple positions in Finance/Economics/Management, effective in October 2011. The search is open to all ranks and all areas, including Assistant, Associate or Tenured Professor, visiting appointments at senior ranks will also be considered.
Duties: We seek candidates who will produce research of excellent quality and publish in top academic journals, teaching undergraduate and graduate finance/economics/management courses, and supervising Ph.D. students. We are interested in candidates who can interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds, enhancing the intellectual environment of the school.
Requirements: Asst. level: Completed or nearly completed Ph.D. plus demonstrated potential for teaching & research excellence; Assoc./Full: Completed Ph.D., demonstrated superior teaching competence, record of scholarly publications in AER, JF, JFE and comparable journals. Appointment with tenure requires formal review.
Salary and Benefits：Salary and the level of appointment will be commensurate with research and teaching experience, starting from 200,000RMB. Attractive package also includes research fund, housing allowance and travel allowance.
