This is a full-time position in Beijing, China, at the PKU-Lincoln Center office and will be awarded on a contract basis. The Center was established by PKU and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy to promote research, training, and dialogue in the areas of land, urban, and fiscal policy in China. Under the supervision of the Center Director, the primary responsibilities of the Center Manager include the following:
1. Manage Center administrative activities and ensure compliance with the requirements of Peking University and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy;
2. Monitor Center commitments and disbursements; formulate budgets and develop logistical plans for Center programs; assist Center Director in building annual Center budget; Guide Center accountant in recording expenditures and work closely with other Center staff to ensure timely completion of annual financial reporting and annual audit;
3. Draft Center marketing materials, annual reports to Center Board of Governors, monitor Center website maintenance; Assist Center Director and Research staff with editing and composing executive summaries, policy reports, and related documents;
4. Engage academics, policy makers, and industry professionals in the field of land, urban, and fiscal policy to ensure smooth implementation of Center programs and received constructive feedback on ongoing Center initiatives.
Qualifications:
*Master′s degree or above in international relations, public administration, comparative politics, business administration or other relevant field;
*Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably in a management role in China;
*Chinese (Mandarin) and English fluency, native-level Chinese is preferred;
*Excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English;
*Superior multi-task and organizational skills;
*Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
