Faculty Position Openings （2009）
The School of Business at Renmin University of China is one of the leading business schools in China (http://www.rbs.org.cn/) . The school prides itself on the longest history of management education in China, which can be traced back to the 1950s, along with a strong alumni basis and close ties to the business community. The school provides a supportive research environment, research funding, and modern facilities in its newly constructed Mingde Business School Building. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
Applicants are invited for all rankings in Economics (Industrial Organization theory, Econometrics), Accounting, Finance, Marketing, General Management, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, and Operations Management.
Applicants for assistant professor positions should have a Ph.D. in relevant fields and demonstrated research potential. Applicants for senior positions must have a strong record of published research in premier management journals. Demonstrated capacity for quality teaching is also required.
Please submit a letter of application, vita, sample research papers, teaching evaluations (if available), and the names of three references. Competitive candidates will be invited for interviews.
The school administrators will attend the CES (the Chinese Economist Society) sessions at the ASSA meetings in San Francisco, CA. in January, 2009, and will be available to meet applicants. Please indicate in your e-mail if you would like to meet them during ASSA.
